Our Story
Worldwide Aquaponics is the vision and dream of our founder and CEO-Angela TenBroeck, a fourth generation farmer with recognized expertise in the areas of urban, indoor and emerging agricultural production practices. She is a minority farm owner, designer and builder who has worked in the forefront of the urban farm and controlled environment agriculture movements for over a decade.
WWA has designed and built aquaponic and greenhouse farms world-wide including those in urban settings on brownfields and other areas previously deemed unsuitable for commerce. WWA has invented an award- winning fresh food distribution machine for use in food desserts where low- income families can use their EBT card to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables grown from our farms. We have innovated the indoor farm workplace by providing second-chance work opportunities and management training to marginalized persons.
WWA has established larger hub-farms in strategic locations along with smaller spoke farms to provide additional hi-demand products within regions.
